I saw one of Tanya's designs and was impressed with the detail presented. We hired Tanya to guide us in deciding what plantings would work best in our front yard, since we already had a water feature and plenty of rock features throughout. Tanya came out and interviewed us about what was important to us and what we'd like to see. We learned a lot during the detailed interview. We had several more in-person meetings as well as phone conversations and e-mail exchanges deliberating ideas, suggestions and choices. Since it is hard as a novice to know how plants look like, Tanya took the time to assemble a slide presentation, which she sent to us by e-mail link. We could actually see pictures of the plants that would potentially be in our yard. It was very exciting to see some of the possibilities we had never heard of.

Tanya prides herself in making sure that any plants she suggests will do well in your garden/yard micro climate. The final product is a beautifully rendered drawing showing where all the plants eventually will be. She also included a list of all the plants with instructions on how to care for them, as well as how to plant them and what their needs are. We were very impressed.

Now comes the exciting work; deciding which area to do first and little by little see our vision come to fruition, thanks to Tanya's expert guidance.

Consultation – During a consultation we meet on site to discuss the landscape issues and client’s wishes which is then followed up with a typed list of recommendations and rough sketch if appropriate.

Conceptual Design – A CAD design showing all relevant structures and landscape recommendations (including hardscapes and plant material). A very good guide showing the concept and planting plan though quantities and placements cannot be accurate.

Landscape Design To Scale – CAD design to scale showing all relevant structures and landscape recommendations precisely (including hardscapes and plant material).

Additional Options:

  • Colored Design – So beautiful you will want to display it!
  • Irrigation Design – Lay-out of irrigation including recommended sprinkler heads
  • Print, CD or Dropbox of plant images – Shows the plants recommended for your landscape

My designs are hand-drawn, adding a visually appealing nature to the design which makes them more a work of art than a project design.

Prior to any service, during our initial meeting I go into greater detail explaining the design options available as well as showing some of my work, thereafter a bid is mailed allowing the client to choose the service that best fits their needs and budget.

Client for Life

I am committed to my clients regardless of which design option they choose. I touch base with clients periodically after the project is completed to make sure everything is doing well. Whether the client is installing the design themselves and needs advice while shopping for irrigation parts, or sees a plant they love on one of the roundabouts and would like it identified, I am available for any of my clients needs during and after the project.
